On nights bathed in the True Moon’s cerulean light, many strange incidents are occurring in Otsuna.
The source of the madness, the Light Hunters, hides in the shadow of everyday life. To slay them, Ryou and his allies in the Astronomy Club, the Firefolk, begin to fight in the dead of night.
Ryou Hamura
The game’s protagonist, a second-year at Oumidai Private Academy.
His parents left the country for work a year ago, so he lives alone in an apartment in town.
In the spring of his second year at the academy, an encounter with Izumi led him to begin fighting the creatures known as the Light Hunters.
His ability is Repeat, the power to perceive and match the motion of an object.
His weapon is the Formless Sword, an ever-changing blade.
Izumi Kagura
A girl from a family of Firefolk who has been fighting the Light Hunters since ancient times.
Members of her family are especially unique for their red eyes.
She’s a third-year and normally serves as the head of Oumidai Academy’s Astronomy Club.
Her gentle nature doesn’t stop her from serving as a strong leader in combat.
She has a tendency to be excessively self-conscious.
Her ability is Mend, the power to heal wounds.
Her weapon is a large scythe called the World Splitter.
Kyouka Nanaogi
One of Ryou’s classmates.
Carefree and confident, she always lives life at her own pace.
She’s a model on the side while attending school, but she’s currently on break from work.
She knew Izumi since before attending Oumidai Academy and fought the Light Hunters alongside her.
Her ability is Satori, the power to read minds.
Her weapon is a snakedragon named Chiro.
Manami Miwasaka
A first-year at the academy.
A talented performer, she joined as the sixth Firefolk.
She’s highly attuned to trends on top of being a fan of tokusatsu and anime.
Prone to strong emotions, it’s always easy to tell what she’s thinking.
She and Souichi are classmates.
Her ability is Kotodama, an advanced form of magic.
She uses MDs like spellbooks to cast spells in battle.
Makoto Kedouin
A girl from a Firefolk family much like Izumi.
On orders to slay Light Hunters, she and Kirara traveled around fighting many battles, eventually finding themselves in Otsuna.
She and Ryou are classmates.
She has a well-honed physique and fights with martial arts.
Her ability is unknown.
Her weapons are gloves called Boltdrill Gloves.
Takehito Shinkai
A third-year and member of the Firefolk.
Aiming to become a pro wrestler, he never misses a day of training.
He’s compassionate, but he can be a bit pushy at times.
His ability is Super Strength, granting extraordinary might.
His body is his weapon.
Tsubasa Hoshikawa
Ryou’s classmate and a member of the Firefolk.
He’s such a narcissist that he calls himself handsome.
It can be hard to tell when he’s joking, drawing ire from those around him at times.
He’s a talented fencer and wields a sword in battle.
His ability is Keen Eye, granting him superhuman dynamic visual acuity and the power to find the weak points in objects.
His weapon is a rapier called Saint-Exupery.
Souichi Momose
A first-year who met Ryou and the others after an incident.
He knew of the Light Hunters and declared his intent to help fight them.
He has no special ability, but he makes up for it with guts and enthusiasm.
Despite his dirty mouth, he’s solemn at heart.
Kirara
A spunky and determined girl who lives with Makoto.
She takes merciless jabs at Ryou and the others both verbally and physically.
She has a boyfriend named Kouichi.
