Under the pretense of receiving training to become the head of the Kinusato family, Kokomi is sent to stay with his relatives on Himegashima. However, his cousin Asuka demands that he enjoy his summer on the island of Himegashima and make lots of happy memories. Having grown up sheltered, there’s an entire new world of things for Kokomi to experience. The hot midsummer sun and the cries of cicadas everywhere. The gentle waves crashing against the shore and the bustle of restaurants on a busy night. Kokomi is going to experience all Himegashima has to offer during his short time there.

Kokomi Kinusato
The protagonist of the story. The heir of the distinguished Kinusato family, he’s sent to Himegashima for training. Very honest and innocent, but also slightly airheaded.
Marisa Jinguu
The only daughter of the Jinguu family. She lives together with her mother Asuka and runs the Jinguu Shrine. One year older than Kokomi, she does her best to take care of him like an older sister. A little clumsy.
Ayumi Isobe
The daughter of a fisherman, she runs the only restaurant on the island. Very kind and caring, she acts like everyone’s older sister. She seems particularly protective of Kokomi.
Juri Obana
A girl who came to the island shortly before Kokomi. She runs the counter at Himegashima Mart, the island’s only general store. Although she was originally a very cheerful girl, she’s been really quiet lately for some reason.
Hinano Yuzuha
A girl who returns to island a little bit into the story. Stuck up and always obsessing over her brother, will Kokomi ever get her to open up?
Asuka Jinguu
The head of the Jinguu family and Marisa’s mother. However, she’s so childish it seems more like she’s the daughter. Very tolerant and open-minded.

Excellent game! The style is very cute (90’s slice of life) and the characters are funny and distinct. The mini-games are mostly optional (though if you want to make quick progress prepare to learn to love bug battles). All in to get everything its about 15-20 hours depending on your play style.
