Immediately after defeating the Demon King, the Hero Astel is affected by mysterious magic and transformed into a woman. The now-female Astel has lost all of the power she once held as the Hero, but she soon finds that not to be so much of a problem. Such strength is unnecessary while the world begins to rebuild and advance peacefully.
She gets a new job and tries to live her second life to the fullest… until old foes reemerge. The “true demons” that should have been eradicated alongside the Demon King!
And thus does the curtain rise on a grand tale spanning the ages and shaking the foundations of fate itself.
Astel
This game’s protagonist, and the former Hero. She was turned into a girl by some strange magic immediately after felling the Demon King.
Always cheerful and earnest, Astel strongly believes in doing what’s just. While she was initially shocked to find herself turned into a girl and hid away in her room for months, she has since grown accustomed to her female body.
Ima
A former demon noble. The “true demons” spawned by the Demon King had usurped her homeland. Now she perseveres alone, attempting to live an everyday life while blending into human society.
Disaster
A silver-haired girl whom Astel met while chasing leads on the infamous Bronze Phantom, a serial petty criminal in Gran Tale. She assists Astel and Ima on the case, seemingly looking for something herself.
